Abigail holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political and International Studies alongside her LLB. She was admitted as an attorney in 2020.
Abigail has the multi-faceted experience of having advised clients on labour disputes ranging from retrenchments, to organised labour, to strike action, to individual CCMA and Labour Court disputes, to having performed thein-house role of Principal Employee Relations within a highly industrialised mining and manufacturing environment. This provides her with a unique perspective to offer legally sound, strategic and business tailored solutions to human capital concerns. Abigail's expertise lies in general labour litigation and specialised strike litigation across the CCMA, Labour Court and High Court, as well as in the day to day advice on the management of high-risk business and labour concerns, such as retrenchments, business transfer, contracts and contractual disputes, generalised harassment, victimisation and sexual harassment claims and the development of globally and locally appropriate policies and procedures.
