Hercules Wessels is based in Cape Town and has practised as an environmental law attorney since 2019. He also obtained experience in the fields of insolvency and family law, commercial and general litigation from 2017 to 2018.

His further experience includes providing advice to individual, non-profit and corporate clients, drafting and responding to appeals against environmental authorisations, undertaking due diligence studies, assisting with legislative drafting in Lesotho, identifying legal risks, conducting environmental legal compliance audits in South African and Lesotho, drafting legal registers and provides clients with advice and assists them with litigious matters regarding administrative, contract, criminal, delict, environmental, expropriation, information, medicinal cannabis, municipal and procurement law.
